Opening hours and ticket prices

Opening hours: daily from 08:30-09:00 until 16:00 (admission to the grounds is open until 14:00, and the last safari bus departs at 15:20).²

Ticket prices at the ticket office and online (2025-2026):

Adult ticket: ~850,000 ₫.²

Child ticket (height from 100 to 140 cm): ~650,000-700,000 ₫. Children up to 100 cm tall enter free.^1,2

A standard ticket usually includes admission, the safari bus ride and a food voucher (a 150,000 ₫ deposit) for restaurants on the grounds.^1,2

Combo tickets (VinWonders + Safari): a 2-day ticket to both parks costs ~1,350,000-1,700,000 ₫. Chat participants strongly recommend visiting the amusement park and safari on two different days, as combining them in one day is physically very demanding.^1,2

Main zones and locations

Safari Bus Zone

An enclosed, air-conditioned bus takes visitors through fenced sections with predators (lions, tigers, bears) and hoofed animals (rhinoceroses, zebras, antelopes).²

The ride lasts 20-30 minutes. An audio guide operates inside, including in Russian.²

Tip from chats: sit on the left immediately behind the driver for the best view of most animals.^1,2

Giraffe Restaurant

It is right at the exit from the safari bus area. Giraffes approach the open terrace closely.^1,2

A cup of feed (leaves and carrots) is sold at the counter for 30,000-40,000 ₫.^1,2,3

It is best to visit the giraffes before lunch: after 14:00 they begin resting and moving into the shade, and may be less willing to interact.^1,2

Animal interaction areas:

Lemurs: an open enclosure you can enter yourself. Lemurs readily jump onto shoulders and interact when hungry (feed is sold at the kiosk for 30,000 ₫).^1,2

Capybaras and tapirs: entry into their enclosure costs ~80,000 ₫, including a portion of food.²

Elephants: a special area where you can feed the animals bananas.¹

Shows and entertainment:

Bird Show: daily at 10:00 and 14:00 at the venue behind Flamingo Restaurant / beside the aviary. The show receives high praise; taking seats under the canopy 15-20 minutes before the start is recommended.²

African dances (Zulu dance): welcome guests at the main entrance around park opening (~09:20-09:50).²

A tried-and-tested step-by-step itinerary from expats

To avoid huge queues and see animals while they are lively, chats recommend the following plan:

08:30-09:00 - Arrive as the ticket offices and entrance open.^1,2

09:00-09:40 - Head straight either to the lemur enclosure while they are hungry and jumping onto shoulders, or to the safari bus before a boarding queue forms and predators hide from the heat.^1,2

09:45 - Take shaded seats for the Bird Show, which starts at 10:00.²

10:30-12:00 - Visit Giraffe Restaurant and feed the elephants and capybaras.^1,2

12:00-14:00 - Take a leisurely walk around the rest of the walk-through zoo.²

Getting around the grounds: Zoo Tram and buggies

Zoo Tram (the zoo’s electric vehicle): for 100,000-130,000 ₫ per person, you receive a wristband for an open electric bus. It makes only 3-4 fixed stops. Chat participants note that without small children, walking is better: distances are manageable, while the tuk-tuk passes the enclosures quickly.^1,2

VIP buggy: private hire of a vehicle with a guide costs 2,500,000 ₫.²

Getting there

VinBus routes and internal shuttles

VinBus routes 17 and 19 connect Dương Đông and the airport with Grand World; route 19 also serves the InterContinental area. Choose your exact stop and direction on the current map rather than relying on the general description “south of the island”.²

At Grand World, change to a suitable internal shuttle to Safari, such as V1. Internal bus shuttles are free; stops and hours depend on the route, and some evening services only serve Grand World.²

VinBus routes 17, 19 and 20: since 1 January 2026, the standard fare is VND 20,000 within one zone or to an adjacent zone, and VND 50,000 for a full journey. An eligible VinWonders, Safari or Grand World ticket may qualify for a free QR-code ride: confirm eligibility and conditions with the carrier before boarding.^1,2

Taxi: through the Grab or Xanh SM apps.²
