VinWonders Phú Quốc is Vietnam’s largest theme park (50 hectares), located in northern Phu Quoc. Modelled on Disneyland, it includes an amusement park, a large water park, a giant aquarium and entertainment shows.12
VinWonders has a single admission ticket: it gives unlimited access to all zones, rides, the water park, aquarium, arcade machines and shows within the grounds.12
Park layout and main zones
The park is divided into 6 themed zones:2
European Avenue and the Castle: the central square with a castle, restaurants and shops. The evening show takes place here in front of the main castle.2
The Sea Shell aquarium: a unique building shaped like a giant turtle, with a main tank of 15,500 m³. Inside are sharks, rays, jellyfish and penguins.2
Typhoon World water park: numerous water slides, a wave pool and a lazy river.
Fantasy World: family and fairy-tale rides, including Aladdin and Aztec areas.
Adventure World: thrill rides, including the Zeus roller coaster, a drop tower and spinning rides.1
Viking Village: obstacle courses, a ropes course and river rafting.
Opening hours and show schedule
The park is open daily from 10:00 to 19:30. Hours for individual attractions:2
Dry-land rides: 10:00-18:00.2
Water park: 10:00-17:30.
Aquarium: 10:00-18:00.
Ferris wheel: boarding closes around 17:30 (a rotation takes 15 minutes, ideal for watching sunset).2
Main event schedule:
Mermaid show: daily at 14:00 in the aquarium amphitheatre (it is best to take seats 30 minutes beforehand).12
Fish and ray feeding: at 11:00 and 15:00 in the aquarium.2
Dancing fountains: 11:30, 14:00 and 17:30 in the central square.2
Main evening show, Phoenix / Once Show: 18:45-19:05 in front of the castle by the lake. This colourful multimedia performance features 3D projections onto the castle, fire, water and actors.2
Ticket prices and where to buy
Standard 1-day ticket:
Adult (height from 140 cm): ~950,000 ₫.2
Child (height 100-140 cm) and senior (60+): ~710,000 ₫.2
Children up to 100 cm tall: free.12
Ticket with food: ~1,100,000 ₫, including a buffet at Gateway Restaurant or a 250,000-350,000 ₫ voucher for park dining venues.2
2-day combo ticket (VinWonders + Vinpearl Safari + Teddy Bear Museum): ~1,350,000-1,700,000 ₫.2

A tried-and-tested day itinerary
To visit as many locations as possible without wilting in the heat:13
10:00-12:30 - Arrive at opening and head straight to Typhoon World water park or the major thrill rides before long queues form.2
12:30-15:30 - At the hottest time of day, take shelter in The Sea Shell, the cool, air-conditioned aquarium. Watch fish feeding (11:00/15:00) and the mermaid show (14:00), then play in the indoor arcade.2
15:30-17:30 - Enjoy the dry-land rides, complete the Viking ropes course and ride the Ferris wheel at sunset.23
18:00-19:05 - Take seats in the square in front of the castle and watch the evening Phoenix show.2
Practical tips
Entrance checks: bringing food and drinks is prohibited, except baby food; bags are checked on entry.2
Lockers: a water park locker is approximately VND 100,000 (+VND 50,000 deposit). Some packages may include a bag; check gift availability and package contents when renting, as they are not guaranteed for every visitor.12
Height restrictions: most thrill rides strictly require a height of at least 130 cm. Children 100-130 cm tall have a separate selection of children’s slides and rides.2
Public VinBus routes 17 and 19 serve Grand World. Standard passengers pay a fare; eligibility for a park-ticket exemption must be checked. Separate free internal shuttles connect Grand World with Safari and VinWonders. Check the complex map for your route and stop.12
