Phu Quoc beaches: Khem, Bai Truong, Ong Lang and Bai Dai

Start with your accommodation’s location and your plan for the day. Khem is in the south, Bai Truong on the west coast, Ong Lang north of Duong Dong and Bai Dai in the northwest. A good rating does not confirm today’s water conditions.

How to compare beaches

Compare three things: distance from your accommodation, a convenient entrance to the section you want and the services available there. On a short trip, one relaxed beach day may be more worthwhile than four journeys. “Best beach” is of little help in choosing without these details.

Khem: a day in the south

Make Khem the main destination of a southern outing, or combine it with Ho Quoc if you have time for the journey and the temple. Check access to the specific section and use of resort pools, sun loungers and parking separately. A nearby hotel does not mean its services are included.

Bãi Trường (Bai Truong): the west coast

This is a long beach area, not a single entrance suitable for everyone. Choose a section closer to your accommodation; our map marker is a reference point. For an evening walk, allow time before sunset, but do not count on unchanging weather. Cafés and beach bars have their own conditions.

Ông Lang (Ong Lang): north of town

Consider Ông Lang (Ong Lang) as a separate stop between the central and northern parts of your trip. The map uses a specific verified Google pin. Other results with the same name may show a different section, rating and approach road. A photograph of a neighbouring hotel does not confirm access to your chosen spot.

Bai Dai: the northwest

You can include Bai Dai in a trip to the northwest. VinWonders is nearby, but it is best not to turn a large park visit and a full beach day into a race. This comparison uses the separate Bãi Dài (Bai Dai beach) listing; reviews of hotels and other places with the same name are not attributed to it.

What to check before you go

Look at recent information on Google Maps and ask about entrances, parking, toilets, sun loungers and service prices. The absence of a ticket for sale does not prove that everything is free. Check the forecast and warnings at the location. Ratings and illustrations do not guarantee safe swimming: in poor conditions, choose a walk or another day.
