Vinpearl Safari in Phu Quoc: tickets, itinerary and tips before visiting

Two zones: the zoo and open safari

Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc is in the northwest of the island, in the Bai Dai area. The park consists of the walk-through Open Zoo and the semi-wild Safari Park zone. They belong to the same park but are visited in different ways.

In the walking area, you choose which animals to stop by. You enter the semi-wild zone on a special enclosed bus: visitors stay inside while animals move around their designated sections. This is not an opportunity to walk independently alongside predators.

Opening hours and when to arrive

When checked on 14 October 2026, the park’s main page listed hours of 09:00-16:00. The official booking section listed the overall grounds as open from 08:30 to 16:00, and the semi-wild zone from 09:00 until the last bus departure at 15:20. Since the pages disagree on opening time, check your ticket confirmation and the park’s current announcement the day before.

Plan to arrive early in the day so you can pass admission checks and choose the order of your visit without rushing. Do not leave the safari bus until just before closing. Check the last admission time in your ticket confirmation; it may differ from the grounds’ closing time.

Tickets: price, your child’s height and package contents

In the official table on 14 October 2026, a daytime Safari ticket was listed at 950,000 ₫ for visitors at least 140 cm tall and 710,000 ₫ for visitors from 100 cm to under 140 cm tall. A 710,000 ₫ rate was listed for guests aged 60 and over. The booking section stated free admission for children under 100 cm. These are the operator’s reference prices on the checking date, not a fixed price for our offer.

The same table includes a combined VinWonders + Safari ticket: 1,500,000 ₫ for the category at least 140 cm tall and 1,100,000 ₫ for the child and senior categories. The table alone does not confirm that this is specifically a two-day package. If you want to visit the parks on different days, choose an offer that explicitly states its validity period and permitted dates.

Check the inclusions of your chosen ticket for meal vouchers, lunch, Zoo Tram and special animal encounters. A food voucher is not a refundable deposit. Do not assume that a 150,000 ₫ voucher is included with every admission ticket. Save your confirmation and QR code before the trip.

Zoo Tram, safari bus and transfers: what is the difference?

A transfer or city bus takes you to the park. The safari bus is for the semi-wild zone. Zoo Tram helps you get around the walking area. The word “bus” in an offer’s description does not mean that all three services are included.

Consider Zoo Tram with small children, limited mobility or if you would prefer less walking. Walking suits those who like to linger at interesting enclosures. The choice depends on your stamina and the weather, not just age.

In the checked Zoo Tram Combo description, the operator specifies three stations and repeat boarding using a wristband. Prices in old posts do not replace the current package price. An individual VIP tour is also a separate service; it cannot be equated with ordinary admission.

Safari bus: watching the animals

The safari ride passes through sections with predators and hoofed animals. Along different parts of the route, you may see lions, tigers, bears, rhinoceroses and zebras. Visibility and activity of particular animals are not guaranteed at your chosen hour.

Choose a comfortable seat with a view and follow the driver’s instructions. Advice that only the left-hand side offers the best view is subjective: animals move around. Do not stand beside the driver to take a photograph. Ask when boarding about the journey’s duration and available commentary languages, including Russian: a permanent Russian audio guide is not promised here.

The giraffe restaurant

Giraffe Restaurant is an interesting option for a food stop. When checked, the park’s main page listed its hours as 10:30-15:30. If you want to include it in your itinerary, allow time to walk there, order and rest.

Only choose feeding as an organised service when staff permit it. Check the price of a portion, encounter availability and lunch conditions separately. The claim that all giraffes necessarily stop approaching after 14:00 is not a park rule.

Lemurs, capybaras, elephants and other programmes

Additional animal encounters may be part of a special programme, rather than ordinary independent entry into an enclosure. Choose an offer available on your visiting day and follow the keeper’s instructions.

Do not approach animals to touch them without permission. Do not try to induce contact through hunger or food from your bag. Encounters and feed may cost extra: before buying, ask at the counter about available animals, the programme and the price.

Animal shows and the daily programme

The Safari main page lists Animal Show sessions at 10:00-10:30 and 14:00-14:30 at the venue behind Flamingo Restaurant. These are reference times on the checking date: see the final programme on arrival. Individual performances and encounters may change because of the weather and events.

Choose one convenient session, arrive early and sit in the shade if seats are available. Do not make the welcome dance mentioned in some accounts a compulsory itinerary stop without a current programme.

A convenient route for a first visit

The first step is admission, a park map and checking today’s programme. Then choose your priority: the safari ride or a particular event with a fixed start time. If the bus queue is short and the early show is not a priority, you can start with the safari. If attending the next Animal Show matters, first allow time to reach the stage.

After the main event, stop for food, then explore the parts of Open Zoo that interest you at a relaxed pace. Add animal encounters only where they are officially available. Do not try to follow two incompatible starting instructions at once: “straight to the lemurs” and “straight to the bus”.

For a child or someone who finds prolonged walking difficult, reduce the number of stops and add rest breaks. This is an example of a flexible visiting order: adjust it to your chosen session, queues and pace.

Getting there and combining your visit

For a taxi, enter Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc and check the drop-off point at the entrance. Consider Grab and Xanh SM if cars are available in your area. For a bus, check the departure stop, whether you need to change at Grand World and the return service in advance.

Transport from the island’s centre and the northern complex’s internal shuttle may have different conditions. Do not count on a free city bus just because you have a ticket QR code: confirm the specific route and eligibility with the transport operator. Check the required internal shuttle and its stop on the complex’s current map.

First consider Safari and VinWonders on separate days, especially with children. After the zoo, you can add a relaxed walk in Grand World if you wish, but only if you still have energy and have worked out your return transport.

What to bring and how to behave in the park

Prepare a hat, sun protection, comfortable shoes, a charged phone with your ticket saved and a way to pay for additional services. Check the rules for bringing belongings and drinks: planning to have water does not mean every container or food item is permitted.

Feed animals only in designated places, using feed provided by staff and following their instructions. Do not bring your own food to feed animals. Do not use flash, bang on barriers or provoke animals.

Before leaving, check your return transport time and belongings. Schedules, services and prices in this article carry a checking date; the final conditions are determined by your chosen ticket and park announcements.
